About Me & My Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate who works with adults navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges, helping clients build healthier coping strategies and move toward long-term recovery and personal growth.

I utilize a person-centered therapeutic approach while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to support clients in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, strengthening emotional awareness, and developing practical coping skills. I believe that professionalism, empathy, and genuine human connection are essential components of effective therapy and am committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel respected, supported, and empowered throughout the counseling process.

I bring valuable experience from my previous roles as a case manager and counseling intern at The Virtue Center.

My passion for counseling is rooted in a strong desire to help individuals navigate life’s challenges while fostering resilience, accountability, and meaningful change. I have always enjoyed helping others, and my work at The Virtue Center allows me to do just that. Watching clients take positive steps in their recovery, even baby steps, makes coming to work everyday worth it. I love watching the growth in my clients as they dig into the hard work of recovery, and being part of that journey continues to strengthen my passion for serving others and supporting meaningful change in people’s lives.”

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy cheering on Oklahoma Sooners athletics and spending time reading.
